Dr. Luc Hesselschwardt
Dr. Luc Hesselschwardt graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary
Medicine in June 2005. Dr. Luc grew up outside of Defiance OH and was excited about
the opportunity to move closer to family and friends. Dr. Luc especially enjoys
the large scope and variety in veterinary medicine. In his spare time he enjoys
spending time with our daughter Kaitlyn and son Breck, hiking, hunting, fishing
and watching OSU football.
Dr. Rachel Hesselschwardt
Dr. Rachel Hesselschwardt graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary
Medicine in June 2007. Dr. Rachel grew up outside of Montpelier OH. She especially
enjoys meeting new people and the opportunities to care for their pets. She also
enjoys working on horses and hopes to expand the practice in the future to be able
to do this. Dr. Rachel also enjoys playing with daughter Kaitlyn, gardening and
hiking. Drs. Luc and Rachel have a 4 year old mixed breed dog named Ellie and a
30 year old Quarter Horse named Bran-dee.
I enjoy working with our clients and their 4 legged friends. Being part of the care
and healing process is very rewarding. I have a beagle named Skeeter who is our
little buddy and a cat named Duchess. Thank you for the privilege of caring for
your pet.
I grew up in the country near Fort Wayne IN. I attended International Business College
and graduated in December 2008 receiving my veterinary technician degree. I grew
up near my grandparents farm where I spent most of my summers working and raising
chickens. I have always enjoyed animals and have 2 cats myself Peaches N' Cream
and Max-I-Bear and any type of farm animals. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking and
bicycling. I really enjoy my position at Bryan Animal Hospital. I enjoy using my
knowledge and skills to help animals in every way I can.
As a registered technician, I greatly enjoy being a part of the team at Bryan Area
Animal Hospital. I have always had a passion for working with animals and now I
get to do that everyday. I graduated from Fairview High School in 2005 and then
graduated from The Vet Tech Institute at IBC in 2007. I have a 2 year old Chihuahua
named Meeko and a 3 year old cat named Buddy.
